It had been snowing for two days and we had about a one foot deep blanket, of beautiful white snow, (plus or minus a few inches-here or there). It was above zero, warming to almost twenty degrees during this video capture. My weather station only recorded the wind at 31 mph, but it sure seemed windier than that! Many business' and schools closed down by noon, as roads became very difficult to navigate. It was a great day to stay indoors. For weeks my street had one deep set of frozen ruts down the middle of it like it was an old fashioned one lane road. You can see my Davis weather station data for this storm at: www.wunderground.com
